Where are you from?
I’m from Mobile Alabama! Born and raised!
What got you into music?
I grew up in the church. That’s where I got my start. I had to go to church every Sunday, sometimes more than once in one day. My aunt made me sing lead all the time. That got me ready for the stage.
What what makes you different from other female artists?
I think what makes me different is, I’m not made up. I’m relatable. I talk about the struggles I deal with instead of painting a picture like I’ve always had it.
Who is inspiration in hip hop?
Nicki Minaj inspires me, Trina, Missy Elliot, Monica just to name a few.
Who would you dream of doing a rap song collaboration with?
I dream of doing music with Nicki Minaj and Monica one day.
You energy is very catchy, is it something you have to prep for or is it off instinct?
I don’t really try to be certain way, once a mic touches my hand and I hit a stage, I turn into another person. It’s like a alter ego.
What is your favorite track that grabs people's attention?
I have a few, but right now my song “Throw Away” is drawing a lot of attention.
What producer would you love to work with?
I would love to work with Zaytoven one day!
Does being from Illinois put pressure on you as an artist?
Yes being from Mobile Alabama tryna pursue music is definitely a challenge. We have limited resources, so you really have to make something out of nothing.
Who are some of your some of your biggest influences in music?
My biggest influences are people like Nicki Minaj, Trina, Missy Elliott as I stated earlier, these women have worked hard and it inspires me.
What projects do you have coming up your fans can look out for?
I just dropped a project Jan 31st called “Queenaveli” it’s out everywhere. Go cop that!
